Got this today, it has a really nice spread I think. It is my first KHD DDO. I think it might be a WDDO-001, is that correct? I would appreciate your expertise and opinions, thank you.

A friend asked me to look through a box of old coins for him to see what I thought. When I found this and got excited about it, he told me to keep it. He's a very nice guy!

Die scratch NW from left center of the A in DOLLAR, through the top of the second L and through the star between the two L's. Reverse Stage B: Many N/S die scratches in the fields. Heavier die scratch from lower center of the second T in STATES, SW to the star. Heavier die scratch S by W from the bottom of the right leg of the A in STATES, through the star and to the ray. Stage A markers abraded away. Reverse Stage C: Less defined N/S die scratches in the field. Die scratches from the A and second T of STATES still present.

So if it matches the DDO-001, then read the last line, it is one of the "Doubled Working Hub dies". There were many listings that we pulled that year. Later renumbered the ones with a doubled die, and not listing the doubled working hub dies.
