I am planning on putting these coins in an album. Does anyone think the OGP is worth keeping on these?

The OGP includes all the background information for each design. I would keep it, if you have the interest and space.

I have two of each, one in OGP and one in a CAPS album, so no need to worry about whether to keep it.

Does removing the coin from the OGP destroy (or at least damage) the OGP? I am only collecting one of each year at this point.

The coins are very easy to remove from the capsules in the packaging without any damage.

@bzookaj- did you pick up the uncirculated AI dollars buying rolls or bags of each? Also, where'd you get the album? Thanks

I am only buying the regular proofs in the four coin sets. I will eventually move them to an album (holding out for Dansco), but I am not in a hurry with twelve more years to go.

I order one of each and keep it in the original packaging.

@bzookaj - Thanks for the picture!

I got the same book and am planning the same thing. I'll probably find a box for the packaging of the reverse.

@jbuck

I like Dansco but decided I was done waiting. Figured I'd check out a caps album. Every other album I have is Dansco so I'll probably get mad and buy one of those in a few years if they ever put it out.

So far I like the caps but it is big comparatively.

I bought the year's uncirculated online as a set. More expensive per coin, sure, but less than buying rolls or bags.

I have an old box from a larger mint order that they fit well in. It likely won't hold the compete set, but maybe I'll get another box by then.

That CAPS album looks really nice with the PDSS in there. Aesthetically I'd prefer one row/year but that would make the album(s) even bigger!

And that picture isn't even the full page! There are another two rows!

Hopefully they will have one once they get up to full speed next year.

THe packaging is a slip cover and a a 4 flap that holds the capsule with the coin int he center, like a "+" mark I guess ( hard to explain would be easier to show).

I think with a clear page insert for a binder, you cold fold over the top flap and then the right gflap to the back side and stick this packaging into a binder without damaging it for future use.

It's a decent design to be able to reuse the packaging at a later date if you wanted to, so I'd say save it, also the information on the left flap is useful.
But space is space.

could probably fold it all over so the left flap is showing and then store it in binder using clear pages for papers each page has that story panel of the design and then the slip cover. Might need a thick spine binder though 4-5" or two binders even.

I think this is roughly a CD case in size, they might fit in a CD rack if you wanted to keep them all too.

I think the OGP for the reverse proof Innovation Dollars is some of the best from the mint that I've ever seen. I too have gone the route of buying two of each.
