I found this quarter in my change. It isn't a gold plated hsn quarter as you can see but it's not normal either. It's in a decent MS condition and I'm thinking about getting it graded but would like to get some insight on the color variation first and what may have caused it. The pictures aren't the greatest for showing the color but it's almost a rose gold but a bit lighter.

If possible, remove the coin from the 2x2 and take new photos--obverse and reverse. Thanks.

The two pictures of the reverse are very close to the color of both sides. When I check the rim I could see the copper layer like a normal quarter.

People think they need to have their coins graded. But have you considered what this would cost? Here is a very nice coin MS-67 on eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/203014032785
That price is probably less than they paid to have it graded? [u]So why have a coin slabbed if it will cost more, than you can sell it for?[/] To me if it is slabbed, I pay the price I consider what it is worth. (buy the coin and not the plastic) So why would you have this coin slabbed? I couldn't find an inflated price for these on PCGS? Looks like that is not included now. (Maybe the message is getting though?)

If you can't show us the colour similar to as it appears to you, how are we suppose to help? If it looks like "rose gold" it is either plated (most likely) or environmentally tarnished/toned. Either way, no value added. Multiple coins are confusing. Having this coin graded would be a waste of money, in my opinion. Check eBay's sold listings for similar values.

ça va bien aller
