Poll Question
Going through my Lincoln Cents recently, I realized this (2021) is the last year there is a place in my Dansco 7100 albums for coins. Page 8 ends at 2021.
If you are using this album, what are your plans going forward? Feel free to add additional thoughts.

I actually stopped at 2019, all 2020 and forward are in a Whitman folder. Ever since the zincoins changed from copper I lost interest. I still do them, but it's been from circulation.

I chose "let it end here", but I let mine end in 2009. Not a shield fanatic. And if I change my mind, I can fill everything post 2009 for next to nothing

My 8100 topped out in 2007. I opted to put 2008 and up in a custom album using blank cents pages.

I voted "start a different/new album". As my collection grows into the 2022 offerings, I will buy a Whitman or some other premium album to carry on. But those in the Dansco will stay in the Dansco and any holes are game to be filled.

Does anyone have a Whitman that they recommend. I doubt there is anything starting in 2022 but maybe a Lincoln Shield album?

I have the Dansco 7104 for Lincoln Shield cents starting in 2010. I felt a little silly spending more money on the album than the coins are worth, but wanted to keep things consistent.

Quote: I felt a little silly spending more money on the album than the coins are worth, but wanted to keep things consistent. I can relate! I felt the same way about my Roosevelt dime (7125) and Jefferson nickel (7113) albums. The feelings improved when I added blank pages to hold the proof coins.

I don't have one as you well know but I'd move the shield cents into a new album. It's bad enough Dansco mixes wheats and memorial cents together.

Can't get the Dansco Shield album for a reasonable price either since it's out of stock most places.
I am leaning towards just letting the collection end in 2021 for now...

Actually so glad to see this topic here! I was contemplating the same thing this morning which led me to come back to coin community! Long time member, I come and go.... lol.
It's a shame that there aren't any other premium album/storage options out there. I would love to move my 1909-date cents to something a bit nicer and modern looking. Something that maybe holds each coin separately. Any options out there that I'm unaware of?

I have 7103 and 7102. 7102 only has dates till 2009 but has enough open spots to go to 2020.
