1952-D Penny With Small Case "T" In "Trust"

I found something similar to this penny in a post from 2016. I don't know what would cause it, but there is something above the "T" that makes it look like a "t". Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or information. Thanks

A smaller side device would indicate that the die was polished on that area reducing the fields.

Might be a very small die chip.
