Yes I'm still new to coin collecting and I need some help with this coin I just found! It's a 1993 quarter that looks strange and the side of the quarter it's doesn't look like the other 93 quarters

Looks like someone hammered it flat. Are there still reeds on the edge?

This is colloquially called a dryer coin, though I suspect that this coin attained it's look through something other than a drier as it doesn't look like a typical drier coin. Either way the coin is unfortunately just damaged.
