I hadn't noticed the patterns in the date before, but I see mine has the same. I don't see much of a re-stamp? Slight adjustments to the date digits seem very common in early British coins.

Thanks for that. Don't believe I've ever seen decoration on numerals before, but then I'm pretty much just a US coin guy.

Regarding added value, probably not much of a premium if any. British collectors in general are not 'into' varieties in the same way that North Americans are, and most British coin types have never been scrutinized for die variations in the way that the Morgan and Peace dollars have.

Despite the question, which I agree with all answers, westy00 - so far we have seen very nice coins from you.

The 1821 Crown is a beauty, at least gEF and the 1906 Halfcrown is a stunner too, do you have any more lovely British coins.

This is the stuff I drool over!
Loving Halfcrowns. British and Commonwealth coins 1750 - 1950 and anything Kiwi.
If it's round, shiny and silvery I will love it.
