Yes very cool. I don't see it listed on the cuds-on-coins website either, although it could be a later stage example of one of those listed. Is it copper or copper-plated zinc?

Thank you all very much!

Spence, I'd say it's copper-plated zinc, based on the fact that split plating doubling is occuring.

Ok sure--I can't really see that too clearly in your pics, but I'm sure it is visible with the coin in hand. A quick weight measurement would of course confirm. Either way it is a super pick-up. Well done!

Ah of course, measuring the weight... sometimes I really am quite stupid. It weighs about 2.8 grams (I'm assuming the Cud adds a bit of heftiness).

I had to zoom in on my microscope to see the split plating, I couldn't see it very well in my pictures either haha.

Thank you very much!

$10?! That's a crazy good steal! This is probably a $50-$60 Cud IMO.or more! It's huge! Congrats on a superb pickup!

The Cud should not have added any weight.

Haha thank you CH27! That's spectacular news! I think it's fair to say that this coin is worth a little bit more than I paid for

Wow! No kidding! I do think this coin might be 2x2 worthy haha!

Thank you all very much!

Oh also sorry about that John, I reweighed it after reading your comments and now it weighs 2.45 grams, had to recalibrate my scale!

Thank you very much Coop, very informative!
