Not sure if there's any way to tell in that shape, It is not a flowing hair.. But I suppose they did make 1793 liberty cap large cents.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

It looks like Large Cent Liberty Cap but I don't know how you could say for sure it is a rare 1793. It could a more common 1794,5 or 6.

I played with the photo a bit. this is the best I could do. With very low confidence, it looks a little bit like the last digit could be a four.

You've got better eyes than me fortcollins, all I see is a pyramid with what looks like a goat in front of it .

Liberty cap is all I can make of it.

Corroded image of a liberty cap with some lettering on the obverse. All I can make out from the reverse is the word "Cent". Certainly no way to see a date with these tired eyes.

In hand I might be able to tell more. From what I see from the images it is either a 93 cap or and early 1794.

Well it sold for over $200 if it's a 1793 I would say great deal, if it's a 1794 total ripoff.

The seller needs to explain how they know it's a 1793. As noted by others, that date is much rarer and more valuable than a 1794, so surely they have proof?

They said something About liberty was larger on this one and that's why they said it's a 1793, but because of how far it's gone I really don't know how that would tell you that.

Actually LIBERTY tends to be SMALLER on the 93's.
