1998-D Lincoln Cent With Massive Die Chip?

I'm no expert, but I've been collecting Penny's only for over a year now, respectively. I've never seen or came across anything like this penny. I'm guessing a Die Chip that has been Double Strike? Tilted ar the right angle, with the right lighting, Lincoln can be seen on the 'Die chip'

Agree with John1, just glue. A die chip you would not be able to see the devices through it.
If you want to remove it, soak it in acetone for a day or so.

Nice glue blob. Pure acetone should work wonders on it.

Note it is see through? That is Elmer's Glue. It is were a chip, you would not be able to see through it. We see this a lot here.

to the CCF and If it's elmers water will take it off. If not acetone should do the trick. A lot of us have been foiled by glue.

I wonder if they were trying to make a 2 headed cent? Gluing two coins together.
