Just by looking at the location of the store no one should purchase.

Too lazy even to describe each coin correctly in the title - unless calling every coin a 'Silver Dollar Canada' is his way of getting around the fact that they are fakes...

No they start every sentence with "craft" which in Chinese mean "replica". Like this they do no have to face the Chinese government attention.

We have to pay attention of this. Will be more and more.

In China the manufacture of replica and fake coins of China is fair game as long as they were issued prior to the communist takeover in 1949. After that and you might have Jack Ma as a cellmate if you are lucky. The CCP could care less about the manufacture of fake coins of other countries.

Made in China,
marketed via eBay in buyer countries around the World.

High quality fakes can be made from recycled genuine coinage alloys.
Careful comparative examination against known genuine is the best way to detect these sorts of fakes.
With very rare coins, a known genuine example is most often not available.

I agree that CCP couldn't care less about pre 1949 Chinese coins, and any coin from any other country.

As was told/taught to me by nickelsguy, it is legal, in China, to manufacture model/fake/replica/crapt/copy coins for any country, denomination, or date in the world. Because of some of nickelsguy's efforts, some coins will now have "copy" om them to try to make Ebay happy. Through certain dealers, you can order Canadian coinage for any date or denomination for which they have a laser die. People order them for school/college reunions, weddings, births and celebrations for the specific date or 100 year anniversary of the date. They are not necessarily in the "counterfeit" business officially according to Chinese officials, they are making commemorative items to just celebrate a date. Many Ebay vendors put "copy" or "replica" in the verbiage or description, but many don't. Anyone who buys a Canadian coin from a Chinese vendor deserves to be taken advantage of. It is the vendors who "resell" items that they know aren't marked and sell them on Ebay as rare or scarce who need to be chopped. Ebay can't stop them all without folks reporting the auction or vendor.

This irrelevant for the purposes of selling on eBay. eBay prohibits replica coins of any kind, whether marked copy or not, whether disclosed in the listing or not.

Here is a direct quote of eBay's policy: "Replica coins are not allowed." and "Counterfeit or altered coins and currency are not allowed."

Laser scanned digital model dies can be detected, if you know what to look for.
It is not the digital model that reveals the fake,
it is the mechanical stylus method by which the dies a re cut, or by spark erosion cut dies.

Generally speaking, second generation copies are always a little less distinct in their detail.

and yet eBay has this entire section in the coins & currency area on their site...

https://www.ebay.com/b/Replica-Repr...0/bn_2313657

Full of garbage that is at least noted it's all replica and fake.

**EDIT** I did find this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/...licy?id=5042

It's okay to sell fake replica currency only as long as you follow their policies now.

Fake/replica coins are NEVER allowed to be listed. I report everyone of them I find and copy this into the comment on the report site, at least whomever gets the report will see the rules right in front of them if they forgot.

This seller has sold almost $700 worth of this garbage and not labeled as copy that I see, nor will eBay pull it though I've reported it a few times.
