Yes that is a die crack and also a "Spike Head" check cudsoncoins.com for a match.

I never experiment on anything that is worth more than face value. Like ponce de leon once searched for the fountain. I search for a safe cleanser, about twice a year when I am bored with a stinky dirty coin. Just me. I do not try to decieve anyone.

It is in fact listed in Cuds on coins as 96 P03. It also has the crack on the reversebottom right of monticello
