I promise I'll post the pics once I can get at a better camera to do so. But I guess I'm just curious to find out if on the back side of coin you can see Lincoln's full silhouette coming through. Would it have any value?

Photos are needed.
Your description could possibly fit a number of causes that would run the value scale from melt to quite nice.

Ghost image--if that's what it is--is not uncommon on wheat cents. Looking forward to the pics--full, large and sharp.

Well idk what's going on with the pics because when I see them through my phone on this site they look really clear and detailed. But here's a couple more I am praying they're good enough to make things easier on you good people.

That is a die event that happens as the die ages. It is called PIDT: (Progressive Indirect Design Transfer)


First noted on wheat cents, but as most die events it can happen on other designs as well before the retirement of these dies when they are worn out.



Not a premium for these coins as they are common to find. Again these is a die events.
