I have 4 rolls of Presidential dollar coins (3 Washington and 1 Jefferson). I could not help my self and opened all. I want to know if there is some way I can offer these really nice "mint roll" coins to other members? Maybe like for face value? Or a trade? I do not have 500 posts yet but hate to throw these back into circulation. I could just list them for sale online for like 3 dollars each but would rather get face value and maybe a "bonus" (like a Wheat cent / indain head, Mercury dime ETC as trade? Just do not want to break any rules. Please advise. If you (powers that be) want to contact me by email to discuss what's possible that would be great. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Yes I opened them to check for no edge writing and then placed back into the rolls. There are some very nice coins and I think a few may grade out at MS 70. Thus the reason I do not just want to throw back into circulation.

This is an admirable goal, I'll try to help.
First - some CCF facts: You must have at least 250 posts and have been a member for at least 90 days to start a trade. So no help there and asking the forum Moderators to 'bend the rules' is likely not going to get it done.
Two options comes to mind:
1. Set those coins aside, stick around and enjoy the CCF long enough to meet the B/S/T rules. You can go to that subform too read the various rules that apply to each category.
2. Start a contest in the Contest forum and use some of the coins as prizes. Be aware that this will essentially mean they are a giveaway with nothing expected in return.
Hopefully others will be along with additional thoughts.

I'd save a few of the highest grade ones, and spend the rest. Note it's very unlikely for any fresh coinage to reach collectors in MS67 or higher grade. Post a pic of the best example at the grading subforum to get evaluations.

None of them will grade a 70. Try and sell them by the roll on ebay.

I am posting a pic of the 3rd coin that came out of the first roll to grading. If you want close ups let me know.

When you get enough posts to trade check out my trading post! Looks like yours are from Philadelphia. I am short a few Philadelphia Washington's and Jefferson's and I have so many others I could trade to help you start building a set. I saw the one you picked to post on the grading form. It was nice and above average. Most of the ones I have saved are similar in choice grade. http://goccf.com/t/414752

Must have missed this email. Appears I can buy and trade now. Buy and Trade You may now buy or respond to trades on the forum, provided that you have been a member for 14 days. I will be looking at trade chat and hope to trade some of these for other coins. Not really looking to make a full set of Presidential dollars.
