2022 P Shield Cent Unlisted DDR (LMDS) Found this today in some customer wrapped rolls. Most of these rolls have had 8-10 coppers (95%) in them, including a Wheat cent in every 4 rolls or so. I was bumming because this one had no copper! This DDR was in the last handful so it brightened my day. The last image shows some die dots over the O (ONE) for markers. Enjoy and thanks for looking. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Nice find! Definitely worth getting it listed, when doubleddie.com starts taking attributions again.

Thanks E&V.
In hand, it's easy to see it's not MD. My phone was being a little difficult today with the images.

I don't really see the extra thickness in the initials here. Also to me you can see the flow lines on the fields of the Die Deterioration a bit and I can see that on the bottom of JFM there. It fades away into the field. I don't see any extra thickness to the raised physical metal that makes up the devices that would indicate a doubled die to me. All I see is Die Deterioration.

Thanks everyone. As I replied earlier, the doubling/thickness is more obvious in hand. GC, you are correct about the die flow lines but JFM is similar to the 2023 in this link. https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/die...ie_state=mdsJust can't seem to get the lighting correct on this one. I'll see if any of my other images show the thickness better. This may show it better.

Quote: . Just can't seem to get the lighting correct on this one. It is prob that. I'm honestly very surprised to see the listing on chucks site. I know he had stopped attributing recently. But I guess he picked it up again. you're prob correct in your attribution,

To me pete even looking at coppercoins photos I don't see extra thickness of the physical raised the metal. I see the area in question under JFM going southwest but that to me still doesn't look like a doubled die. Looks like it's coming from under the devices and fading into them. I don't see that on the raised devices at all as extra thickness. Maybe in hand it'd be better but I can't wrap my head around this one. It could be similar to the 2022 D doubled die reverse. The only site that took the best images of that coin was variety vista. The notching isn't as crazy as what is seen on chucks for images. For having the 2022 D in hand with a loupe I could see it clear so that's prob the case with the 2023

This image is from eBay great pic, but I see no extra thickness on JFM. The only thing I see is below JFM ofc. But it looks like Die Deterioration to me more not notching it flows into the field. And you can see the field "lines" of the Planchet that run thru those analogies like under the M. It just looks stretched to me not extra thick.
