I've soaked this in acetone and verdicare, but it didn't help much. Any advice or is she a goner? Thanks!  |

Yeah, a keeper for sure, but still a goner... AU details corroded, and would be a low valued hole filler that looks nicer than other hole filler coins in my opinion.  |

Nothing good. At best, it would look like a cleaned, corroded coin. At worst, it would look like a cleaned, corroded coin with a funky color.

Almost looks like a corroded surface from a dug coin. Seeing it's gone already, try soaking it in some olive oil for a (long) while. Maybe it will get rid of some of that "green" and darken up the surfaces some.

It's a lost cause, so experiment with it as you like, but this will never straight-grade.

I appreciate all the feedback. It wasn't expensive so I bought it to see if verdicare would work on it. No big deal.
