Zero interest in privy marks, just a money making and gimmick maneuver by the same mint that is now giving us super-hero garbage.

This one has me as little baffled.
It does say West Point, where the past and current privy marked (bullion) ASEs were Philly.
Yet it doesn't say that it's either proof or Uncirculated or something else.
The mint by law can't sell bullion directly to the public, so I doubt it's bullion.
This will be interesting. Note the unusual 4 digit product code.
And what would a laser beam privy look like?

That's not how it started out being, with someone marking a coin with a punch. But now they probably want the process all done at once. No inconsistencies. |
