Ok, so recently I have been finding more neat coins, and I might be getting closer to doing a penny coin roll hunt! But that aside, how about I show you these coins? Now, if any silver hoards come and want the silver you can't have my coin ok? Without further ado, let's show the coins!

First up is a 1971 S penny. First S mint mark coin and gotta keep the S marks!

Coin-Finds-Nice-Coins-Ahead!

If that wasn't enough for you, how about my FIRST SILVER FIND? When I was looking through my change, I literally freaked out over this! Here is a 1959 D dime! 90% silver 10% copper content!

Coin-Finds-Nice-Coins-Ahead!

That was from over the weekend, and I must say I was pleased with myself! But today I found more coins!

Here we have a very fine 1943 S steel penny! Not very often you find a very nice steelie and an S one!

Nice one there right? Well, now we're getting into more silver! Here is a 1952 D dime, again like the last one, 90% silver 10% copper content!

Now we're talking! But that doesn't stop there, because now we got FOREIGN CURRENCY! Here is a Franc, the size of a quarter, and well, French currency! Idk what it is equivalent to in US currency, so yeah.

Ok, so that was unique enough? Well, I got more silver!! Here we have something I have wanted for some time. Here is a 1964 JFK Half Dollar! 90% silver 10% copper content in one big coin!

Coin-Finds-Nice-Coins-Ahead!

And last of all, another silver JFK Half Dollar! This one is a 1968, so that's 40% silver 60% copper content!

Coin-Finds-Nice-Coins-Ahead!

Coin-Finds-Nice-Coins-Ahead!

And that's it for my big finds! Hope some people didn't get jealous and hope people liked seeing those coins!

Nice! Did you find all of these recently, or is this a compiled list of finds over a period of months? I think I get just as excited about my finds as you do as well. I think the find that would make me jump more than anything is that 1964 JFK you found. It is hard enough getting silver half dollars in circulation, but the 90% ones are even MORE tough! Anyhow, before I start rambling on my random coin stories, I'll just give you a quick link on that "franc" that you found in the wild:

Just in case you (or other users) find a foreign coin you can't identify, I'd recommend that site. I use it for them all!

Nice finds! Why keep the 71-S, though (other than for the copper content)?

Because it's an S mint mark, which is cool (and, aside from proofs, rather uncommon in today's currency).

I would have kept an S mint marked coin if I stumbled on it in change too (I never actually did - I don't go through that much American change - but I did pick a few S mint mark cents from a 1-ruble [1.5 cent] bargain bin in Kaliningrad).
