You could certainly save this coin, but it only has a value of five cents. Is there ever a possibility that another minted nickel could find itself between another struck nickel still in the die area and have the same effect as a vice? The tip off on all these so-called "faked error vise jobs" is that the secondary design seen on top of the original nickel is in reverse. Report this Post to the Staff
