blackjacknz New Member Australia 3 Posts	Posted 10/14/2018 10:41 pm Hi All I posted this about 4 years ago when I first received it when we were exchanging money for our USA trip, but never got a response on the forum. Was just cleaning out my off and found it again, so thought I would ask the question again in this section of the forum. Smudges are not addressed in my error guide, smears yes but smudges no. I tried it myself with both lacquer thinner and acetone on a 2013 $1 and it smudged a little. Next I'll try my experiment with mineral spirits....since it's oil based, I expect more smudging. Report this Post to the Staff

JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21714 Posts	Posted 10/16/2018 10:28 am The fact that the smudges go in different directions and that there is a smudge mark on the numbers leans toward something has happened after it left the printer, either intentional or not.
