1956 D/D/S Or Just Extra Metal? - Coin Community Forum

micrba New Member United States 28 Posts	Posted 11/10/2019 01:51 am I was relooking through my wheat cents for varieties and this 1956 cent stood out. This coin looks very similar to the D/D/S OMM because of the extra metal on the right side of the mint mark. That metal clearly doesn't belong, but I don't know why or how it got there.
