Has anyone else collected a 1978 1c with the bent upright to the T?

It appears to be minor die damage.

I have been unsuccessful in downloading better scan. If want copy scan sent then please advise email address.

I consider it more than just minor die error. It appears to be a die variety.
I do not see how the upright of the T can be bent in the striking process.
If the die were to have been damaged by something knocking the upright of the T out of straight alignment then the upright support of the T would not reach the crossbar. Take two pieces of string and have them aligned perpendicular to each other creating a T and move the upright part so it points to the left end of the crossbar - they would not meet. The upright on the bent T does meet the crossbar so it is more indicative of a variety then a striking error or damage to a standard die.t of the

Hard to say from the photos but maybe something got stuck in the T during striking.
