1955 Doubled 5 Lincoln Error? - Coin Community Forum

I bought a bag of these last year at a flea market I think, finally today decided to look at them. The last 5 looks strongly doubled, I know it isn't the major 1955 double die, but is it a poor mans? Or something else. 1st pic is digital microscope, others are using my phone. Thanks for any help. This is the best example out of the 4 I got in the bag. Adam_E Pillar of the Community United States 4846 Posts	Posted 12/20/2020 10:12 am This is a 1955 "poor man's" DDO, but its cause is Die Deterioration Doubling, not MD. Though usually worthless doubling, this particular vertical of DDD will command a small premium, especially in MS and a later die state, which this coin appears to be both.
