You might want to see if you can depress it with a wooden toothpick to verify. Some Plating Blisters will flex slightly under the pressure. If it's not there, the Machine Doubling, Die Deterioration Doubling, and other non-collectable forms of doubling will almost certainly be what is on your coin. Spender, unless you are looking for a 'Show ans Tell" coin to show a new collector. Again aging dies is the cause of this. When the die was fresh, these die events hadn't happened yet.
