1936 To 1965 Megaset, How'd I Do?

i would like to see that 1942/1 Mercury dime....

I agree, that coin alone, if authentic, would take care of the cost of the set....

The seller had a similar Canadian set for near spot. I jumped on it.

I was able to negotiate this set for 600 Euro, plus free shipping.

I have no idea what I bought. Ill take a look if its a 1942 over 1. I highly doubt it tho because it sounds like a spicy (pricy) meatball.

Any other rarities I should look for in these dates?

This is a really bizarre custom holder. Need a closer look at the 32-D and S quarters, these often have mintmarks added, they look ok from the pictures but its better to be sure. If real they go for about 300 each in AU. The 36-42 proof cents all have fairly low mintages, the 1936 has only 5000, and it comes in two different finishes, satin and brilliant. Yours is brilliant. PCGS has 1936 proof cents at 650 in PR-63 red. Theres 2 different 1942/1 Dimes, one from Philadelphia and one from Denver. The Philadelphia one is very obvious, (it looks like 19412) but the Denver is more subtle, look for the bottom of the 1 at the base of the 2. The 55 "bugs bunny" variety is on the half dollar, the name comes from clash mark that makes ben franklin look like he has buck teeth. 1960 S.D means small date, specifically on the cent. It's considered a necessary variety for a complete set of cents, but its not a valuable one. This is pretty much everything off the top of my head. I think you made your money back on silver content alone.
