Does anyone have an opinion about White's Coinmaster Pro? There is a shop nearby where I live so that I can test one right there. According to the guy when I talked to him, he said that he would show me how to use it as he had been metal detecting for about 30 years. So, I consider that a convenience for learning. But I wonder how good this metal detector is.

I'm planning on getting a metal detector in a few months after I save up the needed money.

I have a White's GMT which I really like for nugget hunting (gold machine). I have found plenty of coins and relics with it too.
No experience with a coin machine....yet ;)
White's is a good product.

Around here, I highly doubt I would find any nuggets, but you never know. Although, I am going for coins, which I am mostly interested in. I have read a lot of reviews about White's metal detectors. Although, a lot of them are more commercial type reviews, I think.

My goal is to get one before this coming winter ends.

IMO - Whites makes good detectors. Coinmaster pro has a couple extra features over the Coinmaster.

It is in the same class as the Garret Ace 250.

I like the ID screen on the Whites better than the Garret.

That's good to know the about equivalent to another brand. I think I'm about sold on the White's Coinmaster Pro after reading a lot about it.
