Need Help With Medieval Ottoman Coin Ids

Archraz Pillar of the Community United States 3499 Posts	Posted 10/26/2011 11:52 pm Hi everyone, I just got these two very small Ottoman coins. They are both about 10 mm/ 1cm in diameter. Other than that, I know little except the fact that the seller is trustworthy (Dirty Old Coins) and that they were said to have been from 12th-15th centuries. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

molydeii Pillar of the Community Turkey 870 Posts	Posted 10/28/2011 5:34 pm Archraz, they are late medieval Ottoman Akche coins. I am able to read the second one partially, it seems like second one belongs to Sultan Bayezid, which is around early 1400's. They're similar in value to British medieval pennies.
