Double Denomination With 2 Different Dates

Zimmy Valued Member United States 461 Posts	Posted 11/03/2011 9:42 pm Just wanted to share this piece. It's a 2002 Cent struck over a 2001 Volunteer Dime. Both dates show although the volunteer dime was only struck in 2001 so the date didn't have to show to know that. Report this Post to the Staff

There are a lot of stories out there about error coins getting into the public. Most notably in the U.S. regarding dramatic proof errors in the 70's and most recently the hoard of missing edge lettering Presidential dollars. Report this Post to the Staff
