I am reaching out to anyone who can enlighten me on my 2006 Canadian 1 cent with the mint mark KG and appears to be some kind of white metal and it has a ruff texture. Is this an error coin or nothing great? I appreciate the help!

A picture would be helpful. If it has a rough texture a possibility may be that someone may have strippped the copper off of a copper-plated zinc cent.

Is the coin magnetic? What is the coin's weight?

Yes, please post a pic. The copper surface from 1997 to present is incredibly thin (1.6%, more or less), so there could be many reasons for it to be worn away.
