Are these black spots on my recently acquired 1934 Peace dollar a form of toning or something else?   |

Sorry I didn't say the grade of the large cent. It may eventually go to guess the price... and giving a grade would help determine price. And here's my new 7070 pickup:   I don't know why it looks like there is a huge scratch above the head, it's not really on the coin. |

Had some fun at a coin show today. Got a nicer grade Walking Half for my type collection and a shiny little Half Eagle.   |

Just bought this one off of ebay it's an 1853-O half I only bought it because of how horrible its worn, I thought I needed to rescue it! And because it was a good price   Edited by Voshus007

My first Morgan   Just had to have one,been indecisive for a year,couldn't resist this for $20 "Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Very Nice pick ups everyone  Hey Lex1705, I love the cracks on that 21 D  on the previous page 99. As soon as I saw it I thought it looked familiar so I pulled mine. Here is the sister to yours, what does everyone think? Although I think mine is a little later die state with the progression of the cracks..... I imagine Lex's 21D and this one were minted very close together. 4 Photos below are of the same 21D, mine, but I highlighted the cracks in red back when I originally photographed it so that I could better ID the location of the cracks. I was taught carbon spots like this on a bright silver coin typically come from improper dipping, or more precisely improper cleaning of the dip. I am curious to other responses. Edited by linxlvr

Hey Gang , Been Awhile since I've been online here and posted some of my pick-ups .. Heres a few of my Morgan dollar additions .. **MORE TO COME** I have a few more I just need to get photos of , but .. What do you guys think ?! All from a Local coin show , most I paid was 75$ :-) 1904-o Toned Morgan Couldnt pass on this one   1890 With alot of Interesting stuff ,need to VAM still  1883-o In great shape , still need to ID the VAM but may send this one out with the others here and a few more I need to snap photos of   |
