At a show yesterday I picked up three coins today for the slabbed type set I'm starting. First off, I got a nice 1810 CBH, O-101 with lots of die cracks, in PCGS VF-35 for $225. Jbuck and SSK will be happy to hear that I also got two silver Ikes, 71-S and 76-S, both in PCGS PR-69 DCAM, at $25 for the pair, which I believe is a pretty good deal. I saw a PCGS EF-45 1857 Seated half that I liked, until I turned it over and saw a big gouge right under the eagle. I'm quite surprised it got a numeric grade.
Pics will be posted whenever I get a chance, which may be a little while.
I met one dealer who had a bunch of wheats he was liquidating- he said a customer had brought them in and he (the dealer) just wanted to get rid of them. He sold them in tubes organized by decade for $2.50 each, so although I planned on not getting a lot of cheap junk, I grabbed eight tubes of teens. Nothing spectacular, but I did get some nice looking coins, a bunch of woodies, a handful of 1911s and 12s and a 16-D.

I also posted in another thread that I got some junk silver well below spot- for $1 apiece I got a beat up 1904 2 franc coin ($4.55 melt) and four sterling sixpences ($1.51 melt each).

Thanks! It's a little hard to see, but it has a small, but noticeable hit right on the eyebrow. The location makes it a little hard to see (which is a good thing, obviously), but it really is a beautiful coin.
