What were they selling for cashwise? If you bought them for a few bucks over spot you did really well.

I got the Peace dollars for $18 each and the Morgans for $20-24 each. A bit more than a few bucks over spot but still considerably less then the local coin shops are charging for AU silver dollars.

The $5 1839 Large cent.

Date and all stars are clearly visible on obverse, but it doesn't show up in pics; date is weak.

Getting contrast to show in circulated copper photographs vexes me as well. Regardless, very nice!

The Morgans are exceptionally good deals. Is the 1934 Peace dollar an "S". I think there are only 16 coins in the Peace dollar set so you bought 25% if the set in one swoop.
I really am going to check the gold dealers. I have checked a few and was not impressed, but just like the guy who got the 1893-S Morgan at an estate sale you live and learn.

I do believe the 34 Peace dollar is an "S". I will check it again to verify. I checked again and it is an "S"

Always wanted a Ben Franklin half, to mix it up besides CBH, and I purchased this one. This one has a beautiful orange toning, reminds me of a sunset.

This 1906 came in the mail today. I like it okay, but can't tell if it's been dipped

Just picked this up from a local show since I missed out on the Mint release. I WAS going to add it to the 7070 thread in the Mercury dimes, but thought better of it......

That is a beautiful coin Aces. I too missed on the mint release. Waiting a while to see how low the price drops in the secondary market before making a decision to purchase.

This was on the floor of a storage unit that I bought at an auction. We were sweeping the floor clean and found this 1865 3 cent piece. Can't wait to see what else I find.

I've shared this one in the "Eye Candy Corner" thread already, but figured I would post it here as well.
