The 1866 Shield nickel is an unusual type coin for a counterstamp. 1866 Shield nickel, Rays Counterstamped "G. A. WADE." 2x obv. (1 partial) and once on reverse. Good details. 1829 Large Cent, Newcomb N-8 (R1+), Large Letters Counterstamped "J. FRAME" on the reverse only and rotated 180 degrees as such. AG-Good details / shellacked or lacquered a long time ago. It was given a Blue Ribbon treatment anyway and looks better now. This one actually has a listing in Brunk (although seller didn't know that, and also misspelled the counterstamp) 1853 Large Cent Counterstamp "C. J.
