I'm just kidding !But I am curious about what they (the Mint) will do five years from now, upon seeing this FEEDING FRENZY with this Set. How many people think they will have a similar 5 coin Set in five years for the 30th anniversary of the ASE ? Will mintage stay the same if they do ?......or will they " mint enough for everybody" massively OVERPRODUCE it this next time ? Might there be a GOLD coin included ?Or......would it be an EXACT carbon copy (aside from the date !) of what we're all dealing with right now ? What " should" the Mint do for the 30th anniversary of the ASE ? And, in your opinion, what " will" the Mint do for the 30th anniversary of the ASE ?

Yah, I can definitely see them including gold next time -- perhaps all the different sizes/weights. Of course, that would make the set waaaay too rich for my blood. In fact, I was afraid the 25th Anniversary set was going to include gold and I was relieved when I found out it wasn't going to.

I think they should add a special ASE into the AGE set for the 30th anniversary just as they did with the 15th, maybe the RP in the AGE set. But I would also agree with a Gold coin in the ASE set which would be flipped from the 1995 version

Eaglefoot, I can see this happening with maybe a reverse proof from EVERY Mint and again being a low mintage and maybe topped off with a Gold one tenth coin also a reverse proof. Why, just because they can..........PS, I would of course hope to have one THIS TIME!!

I would expect to see another "anniversary" set. Options I would like to see would be all mints represented then creating a "D" coin. Other than that I would like to see an introduction of a 1/2 oz and a 1/4 oz silver coin.

A 6 coin 5 oz each set...30 ounces for 30 years.

You guys are very creative! Maybe the mint even reads these threads, and likes some of your suggestions; I hope they implement some ordering changes before we get there, or maybe there'll be a much larger mintage...

For $1,799.99 you know you'll buy 1 and get it slabbed.

Quote: Bryan ..... I would also agree with a Gold coin in the ASE set which would be flipped from the 1995 version That would just be awesome ! ...... But it "might" be pushing things out of the affordability range of a lot of folks too..... Who knows what Gold will be at in 5 years time though. But this would certainly make this a very "special" ASE Anniversary Set indeed ! If the Mint just does the exact same thing as this year.....it just somehow won't have the same "excitement" or luster I think....(though I'd STILL go after a Set of course !)

I think it would be cheaper than the way they did the 1995-W ASE being in with the whole set of Gold coins. If they were to do that with the prices of gold right now, the set would be over $4000.00 and not many people would ever be able to afford that. Especially with all the hard times everyone is having just paying bills right now

I think there will definitely be a 30th anniversary set. I would bet there will be a different twist again but I hope it is just a silver set to keep the price affordable. Or perhaps there could be a separate gold set for the 30th anniversary as well. I like the idea of having 3 oz silver coin for the 30th. That would be different. 30 oz total would be way too large and heavy. This would really keep sales down. 5 or 6 coins max in the set and a reverse proof for sure. And there will be a sales limit (maybe 100,000 again) but they will probably limit it to 1 or 2 sets per person. If only there was a way to really make it fair so collectors get more of them and dealers less (wishful thinking).

The Mint will have LOTS of possibilities as to what they can do. Remember we have four mints, and three different finishes plus the regular bullion strikes. And by then there might be the possibility of official colorized pieces etc. But even with out the colorized ones there are dozens of different possible sets or special coins that could be in a 30th anniversary set.

There will be a new ordering system by then. And at a price tag of $100M, you can be sure they'll pass the cost through to customers (that will at that time hopefully be able to successfully place an order). https://goccf.com/t/102616
