Hello all,

I have completed my 3rd US coin set.

A Roosevelt dime set; 1946-1964 P, D & S and 1965-2011 P & D

I am sorry if the scans aren't so good but these coins really look good in their Dansco album.

Starting with the silver coins

That's one of my favorite sets. I still haven't completed mine yet as I'm missing a few of the proof issues from the early 50's. Congratulations.

(When I roll search dimes I'll usually buy one of the Whitman folders for 1965 on... It's amazing how often you can fill one of those up from one box of dimes.)

I'm sure it won't be long before you've polished off those Jefferson nickels too.

Excellent! One more down!

No need to apologize for the scans, better than no pictures at all.

Great Job and what a fun modern set. I'm working on the Roosevelt book + proofs. I'm sort of bummed out that the pre-69 era slots do not exist for SMS and proof coins. I know it's been discussed before. But if you are going to delineate between silver and clad proofs- you should deliniate between SMS and Proof strikes before 1969 and satin finish coins of recent mintage.

For the Dansco, the Kennedy half dollar album is the only one that has the SMS holes. I would like to have had them for my other albums, especially since I broke apart SMS sets to get the SMS coins.

Yes, I did keep the other SMS coins; gotta fill those blank holes in the back of an album.

I'm using the Harris folder. There are just enough extra slots in it to have room for the sms coins, the early proofs, and the 82 no P.

I would LOVE for Dansco or Whitman to start making folders with a specific hole for the 82 no P. I've got 3 examples of it now and can't help but think that they're seriouslly undervalued. With an estimated release of 5000 coins into the wild and MS examples selling for ~$150 if a folder maker ever does decide to add it to their folder that coin is going to skyrocket.
