This was my first Flying Eagle cent and the first find of the day. I have been told they are rare to find and even more rare to did. This on is on great shape, Id love to get it slabbed but have been told its not worth getting slabbed.

Very nice find. I think you would pay quite a bit to get it slabbed, more than the coin is worth. But it is a great coin and you could put it in an air-tight round to keep it safe.

The only reason I could think of to have it slabbed would be to ensure its value if you were going to sell it. But then the sale price would have to include the cost of getting it slabbed.

Nice find! Looks in the VF range. I agree not worth the cost of slabbing.

Yep nice coin. No need to slab it though; it's fine in a 2x2 or other cheaper storage place.
