The Doubling is flat and shelf-like..imo it is MD. Happy Hunting

The 1968-1971 years were known for Machine Doubling.

Keep this coin and have it as a reference for what the non-collectible doubling looks like. It is a prime example of smashed down edges of lettering. A doubled die will look nothing like this.
