A very good friend of mine is the sales manager for the USA at Celestron and I also used to sell their products for several years, they make good quality stuff. I have the early version of the lastone in the list. It needed a lot of improvement, which they have done it appears, the old model had a hard to move focus/zoom wheel and no stand came with it for a lot more $$$. I am primarily a Mac user the Celestron scope works with the capture software built in to OSX so that was a plus, the images are sharp and easy to take, I only imagine the new models are even better. That said I use a low power stereo scope .7x-20x is plenty even for die varieties. You won't find a good one for less than $200 and a REALLY good one can set you back a lot, think (Leica or Olympus), there are several good models to look at with microscopes mine is a LW Scientific Achiever, very nice I take one eyepiece out and run my DSLR or eyepiece webcam through it for photos. My other hobby is astrophotography so I have a lot of cameras and adapters that do double duty. The LW Acheiver uses standard modern 1.25" eyepieces. Stay away from the older .965" sized stuff if you look at older used stereoscopes. Some of the newer ones have camera ports so really they are 3-way scopes all at the same time, you don't have to loose an eyepiece for a camera. Most of my coin work is done at the lowest two powers - both plenty powerful enough to see RPD's on my Two Cent Pieces. Once you get a nice stereoscope set up you'll wish you could drag it to coin shows and the coin shop! I love mine and would never get rid of it. The down side is I now keep a table set up with it and my coin photo rig all the time, it takes up some space.

I just got the email from Amazon stating that my microscope has been shipped! I went with the Celestron 44302-A, it's one of the ones that was suggested and it was cheaper on Amazon and looks to have great magnification. Plus it has a 2MP camera. When it arrives, I will let you know how it works. Thank you for your help and suggestions!

Those pics are all pretty nice! Better than I expected from a USB scope.

I got the software in! Windows was preventing it from downloading.
Pictures to come soon if I can figure out how to get the pics from the microscope into my pictures file.

Nice LD but too much glare. Play around with it for awhile till you get used to it. You will want to block off all but one LED, I left the one at the top uncovered but I use a filter over the bulb. John1
