I know this isn't something new, but for me it is! I just got home from my bank and started into some machine wrapped rolls of Jefferson's. My very first roll had 3 1943-P war nickles and a 1939. Yes I know the 39 isn't silver but looks like I am off to a good start.

Ps. I will post more of what I find later on today!

Absolutely! It's still rare in my opinion too. And honestly, anyone who is not excited has become to jaded. It's truly the most serendipitous finds that thrill.

Way to go. There isn't a whole lot in change these days, so finding 3 War Nickels at once is a nice feat.

Nice! Hole fillers for sure if you're collecting the set.

Send some of that mojo my way!

WTG! nice find on the silver War Nickels!

If you didn't already, make sure you check that 1939 for the doubled die reverse "monticello"

Good luck!

Nice...

I've searched over 15 boxes recently and haven't found but maybe 3 War Nickels total.

Going through 10 rolls of nickels today, I found a 1944-D War Nickel in very dirty condition, but anytime I find one, it is a good day! It seems any nickel older than 1960 is getting rare in searching bank rolls.

Still fun though!

Still on a roll! Finished the last of my rolls I got before work yesterday. Found another 43-P silver jefferson and 3 more 1939. Just plain 39 not D or s bummer. I also go a small present from my fiance last night. She pulled a 1939 out of return change yesterday as well.

Not bad 2 different banks with silver in the rolls. Oh this was just the end of the $60.00 in rolls for the day.
