EF-45 seems like a fair grade.

Nice coin and not marked as cleaned, so many of mine come back that way lately. But I only send in ones that are better date or variety, sometimes I have cleaned it just to be able to see the RPD!

I don't mean to sound off note, but I believe ANACS was being generous considering some of the wear on this coin. In my mind, and in the books I have, almost uncirculated means that details like mint luster and only "traces" of wear should show on the surface of both sides. Please don't take offense. This is a great coin with lots of detail. However, grading services don't always get it right, and there isn't a coin collector alive who hasn't disagreed with one in his or her lifetime.
