Can I Change US Coins For Cash? - Coin Community Forum

numispar New Member Portugal 3 Posts	Posted 12/12/2011 08:22 am Hello, I'm from Portugal and I will go next Orlando Fun Show on 05 of January. Normaly I get US coins in Portugal from colections and I want to take them to US and change to Cash beacaue it is dificult to spend all. Is there any place in Orlando were I can do that without fees? Try locating a friend in the Orlando area who has an account at a bank with free coin counter and have them run the coins for you. As already noted you could just spend them while here. Not sure how many of what you have but if your going to be here for a few days, you could just spend a little at a time in stores, restaurants, etc. Many restaurants appreciate change. At the coin show you could just ask dealers if they would buy them all for face value. Or use them to buy what you want at the show. Report this Post to the Staff
