Of course, this will have to be replaced in "The Set" but I'll keep it in the oops book.

Questions Is it likely the die damage at 9:00 and the jitter in EPU are from the same die clash the caused the "ghost"? Was this all one event to the working die?

Some Die wear on the obverse but nothing relating to the reserve or rather I can't determine it if there is

A VLDS reverse die with a lot of wear. Note even the wheat lines are missing in some places.

This is essentially all the same thing, but it is not a die clash at all. Die clash marks are almost always sharp and distinct. This is a ghost-like feature caused by repeated strikes that causes more wear on the die where the features are on the opposite side. It's essentially die wear.

The missing top of the wheat stalk on the left side is probably grease and other muck filling in the die.

The obverse die paired with this reverse does not appear to have gone through nearly the number of strikes, so it is likely that this reverse die was paired with another obverse die at some point earlier in its life.

Chuck has a great explanation on the cause for this ghost image. I often see this phenomena list as a die clash on E-bay when it is not.
