The Mint's scheduled release date for these last two '11 ATBs is identified as 'February.' Good, my wallet can take a breather. Thanks to the ATB series, bought more silver this year than the last 10 years put together. That was quite a run from April onwards.

Definitely agreed. Those ATBs can really break the bank. Too hard to stop though!

Now got release dates on the Mint's calendar: NP9-Vicksburg: Thursday, January 12, 2012 NP10-Chickasaw: Thursday, February 9, 2012 Hope they will be priced less than $229.95, but not holding my breath on that. More realistically, hope the spacing of Chickasaw and the first of the 2012-P releases (NP11-El Yunque) is three months or more.

You're in luck. The Mint rolled back another $25.00 on the four coins on sale this morning to $204.95! Funny thing about falling prices at the Mint, it seems to decrease sales as the collectors that bought them at the higher price get so ticked at the Mint so they stop buying eventually, and the ones who have waited, continue to wait to see if there are further price reductions. With the new pricing, it's still about a $40-$45 premium per coin, needs to fall to around $25 premium before sales will increase. Still hoping that NP9 will be less than $200. IMO, best design of the five ATB Quarters this year.

I know each of us should have purchased a 500 coin green monster box of american silver eagles in december 2001 for $4.15 oz=$2,075 we could have sold it this month december 2011 for $28.70 oz only 10 years later =$14,350 plus a few dollars more an oz over current spot to the right dealer http://www.firstamericansilver.com/..._silver.html

I'm still reeling from last year's giant silver layout and Christmas. I might buy in a couple months if they stay at $205.

Ordered a NP9 early this morning, and with it after weeks of procrastinating on it, a NP8. Really liked saving $75.00 over the earlier issues, so for good measure I added another 2011-W burnished ASE and the 2012-S ATB silver set. Felt like I got those for free, and "free" silver is good!

I probably will take my own suggestion and get another pair of NP6/NP9 if the $204.95 holds for the next six weeks or so. Trying to decide between the uncirculateds or a '11 bullion set in MS69DMPL. Not fond of the monster slabs, but the DMPL coins are impressive, especially #6, 9, 10 and trade for about the same premium as the uncirculated coins. It's good to feel caught up at last, 'til Feb. 9th when NP10 debuts!
Really hope NP10 will not be the last of the collector coins. If they do make them this year, the mintage might be 20,000 to 25,000, and that might heat up the series again.
