$200 increments in odd denominations? First time seeing that type of price separation arrangement. I went a little nuts this year with the sale of a Jefferson Spouse Gold, and supplemented that with some other coin sales, so technically, I did not "spend" as much as I annotated, but then again I did spend the money I collected in sales. ...and the year is not up yet!

As most of my expenditures were for roll searching (ie recirculated funds) how do you want me to count that?
The total in purchases less deposits? Or just total purchases? :-)

I altered the first option to make it a range to allow for those that spent less than $100. Had no one voted yet, I would have added a $1-$100 choice; but doing so would have made earlier votes invalid.

Just doing a quick calculation in my head, I actually think I'm probably in the $900-$1100 range. I spent a lot of time bringing my collection of modern proof coins up to date.

Just my Two Cents (or $2.00 as the case may be...) Divisions should have been in increments of $500 up to $2000, then $1000 slices after that to $10,000+. I'm not saying who on this forum does, but to those few, $2,500.00 is one slabbed coin or a drop in the bucket... Just sayin'!

Yeah, a larger $$$ is needed for me, but then again I sold more $$$ in coins then is listed above too.
In my annual coin subscriptions that I HAVE to have every year are as follows:
Proof, silver proof, & business strike mint sets: $200 "sufficient" BU rolls of dollars, halfs, quarters, nickels, dimes, and cents: $400 Silver Collection yearly $1000
I think that about covers what I TRY and accumulate each year.

About $200-250 I think. Most I've ever spent on coins!

A quick look at my spreadsheet showed $42,255 spent on coins since last January.
Sold? $45,653.

A quick look over my shoulders to make sure the wife isn't looking. Well going from memory; 5 ATB's, 5 25th anniversary sets, 60 ASE's in assorted conditions, a few silver Panda's and a couple commemorative's, I would say too much. Not counting the huge gun safe and the coin boxes to store them in. Oh yeah, there was also the 2006 ASE set and a few silver proof sets.. Merry Christmas!

Quote: the scale is too small ...especially considering how many of us on CCF bought five American Silver Eagle 25th Anniversary Sets from the Mint.

I have spent over $2500 this year. I got bit by the silver bug early in March and it's been an enjoyable but costly addiction.
