It's a great AU 53 cent, the color seems a little off but that may be the photo. Nice grade for this rare cent.

That's a really nice 1870! It's tough to grade AU-MS coins from a single picture, but I'd say mid-AU grade. This year had a lot of problems with bad planchet alloy, bad die steel, prematurely broken dies. A lot of hardness tests were made to the dies. You'll see quite a few MPDs in the denticles. I cannot tell if that's a punch in the denticles under the you in UNITED--is it raised metal?

Not fully struck as biggfredd says. However, it is definitely not XF. Given that the hair above the ear is particularly clean and unmolested, I would venture that this a MS coin with AU details. The diamonds on the ribbon as well as the lowest curl of hair are often incomplete in the '70s due to light striking pressure, so those aren't good diagnostics for wear for IHC of that period. It gets a net grade of AU-58, it's a beautiful coin.

I agree this is a strong AU if not MS coin. Incomplete detail on ribbon (not 4 diamonds obviously), feather tips, bottom hair curl, and highest point of reverse ribbon are all consistent with slight to moderate strike weakness. I'd grade it AU-58 at minimum, with the possibility of up to MS-63 depending on luster. I don't see any sign of cleaning so the color may be a bit off in the photos, or maybe that's really how it looks in hand.
Very nice (and valuable) semi-key!

Either MS-63 or AU-53.

ditto, double eagle. Reverse rim dings at 11 & 12 o'clock. However, I would not be surprised if a TPG gave it a 60. That's what I give it.

Difficult to tell from photo if color is authentic. Definitely mint state details.
I will hazard a guess of MS-62

tough date to find problem-free. I say it gets bumped up to MS status.
