Sorry I didn't give a grade before but I am really new to this.

I wouldn't have gone higher than F-something.... because to get a VF (according to the coin facts page on this site) there cannot be wear signs on the wheat. I see that your coin has some wear at 9 o'clock. And on the obverse I don't see much definition left in the cheekbone.

Again, I'm very new at this and maybe I take it all too literally.

And being a newb -- I am just constantly delighted to see old coins that aren't all mucked up and scratched. So I think you're coin is great.

Thanks for sharing the pics. (I wish I could take such good pictures!)

with BadThad and the reverse could go XF40 but that matters not overall.
