I'd say VG-8 based on at least 3 letters of LIBERTY partially visible. However, the weak obverse rim at 12:00 would probably not be acceptable for a VG coin, so G-6 overall. The price might have been a bit high but it's not that easy to find original examples. This one has a few faint hairlines but nothing out of line given the level of wear.

Despite the weak rims, there is detail in the ribbon/hair and LIBERTY; I'd say VG8
Rest in Peace

Detail looks VG8 but I'd net it to Good.

1859 IHC are sweet regardless.

could the lack of rims be from the strike. I see in the pictures that where the rims should be there is little wear.

I think the indistinct rims are from a poor strike. I see at least 5 letter in 'Liberty"

I agree with the poor strike because the wear in the letters dont match the wear in the OBV rim above STATES. I think this coin could be a VG.
