Years ago I had a website on CRHing... it fell by the wayside when I changed careers. I let the domain lapse several years ago.

However it was killing me to think of the articles going to the internet graveyard... So I've resurrected most of them.

Some of the info on the individual pages might be a little out of date, some of the external links from the articles might be dead, etc... but I think there's a bunch of good information there as well.

On Page 6 there is an error. Halves were 40% through 1970, not 1969.

Looks like I have more reading to do, and college classes just started back up. UGH my time is slipping away.

Very nice article. You could add a separate group, called Error Collectors, on page 6. That is a huge group of people, rather than lumping them also into the last group called Everything Else. Errors can be RPMs, Doubled Dies, etc.

And if you want a better example for the variety section, you can use something like the 1998 Wide AM cent, where the word America has 2 separate varieties.

Wquinn, you're right. I originally wrote those in 2008, crh has really taken off since then. I'm going to have to revisit all of the articles I put together about CRH.

The last few days I've been working on a set of articles on cleaning coins I was asked to do (I'm sure that'll get a few responses). Once I've finished those I'll look at revamping the CRH articles.

Sorry. Actually what I listed are varieties. You can get examples of those varieties from looking at these web sites too:
http://www.conecaonline.org/
http://www.varietyvista.com/Lincoln...0Changes.htm

Errors would be broadstrike, off center, etc:

most people overlook the 1970 though because they were mint sets only. THX For the archive!
