Does this qualify for a 2000 WAM? The FG does not look closer to memorial, but this is the only AM with any kind of space in between.

Nope, not a WAM. On a WAM, the M will actually be the same distance away from the A as it is from the E. This one is much closer to the A than the E. This fooled me too when I first started looking for WAM's, but when I finally found one, you know for sure.

Thanks, I kinda figured, but was worth asking. Sometimes after looking for long periods of time my eyes tend to see things.

The spaces on the WAMs are too wide to misidentify.

also the FG looks way different...I don't even look at the space between the A and the M...I look at the FG

M is not centered. It a Close AM. Normal coin.
