This stuck out to me as very thick and I don't recall seeing any RDV-7 initials looking like this.

Is it anything different or special, what do you think?

1st pic is thick, 2nd one is normal coin.

Check copper coins for the 1999D-1DR-001 (i think its 001) The FG will be Doubled as well as the E.Pluribus Unum and I think also the "ED" in United. Unless you have good magnification you would probably miss it. Try to match die markers.

The FG doesn't look like the on on the Doubled Die...but you might as well check it out anyways.

Could be Die Deterioration.

Hubbing could be stronger on one die or die wear/abrasion could be the cause. Note the die flow in the fields near the rim. Either way it is normal.
